No, I am not posting to get my money back. Strange how everyone else gets it but you. 
I posted due to the fact I am not a fan of people who take other people's honesty and trust for granted.
Just to reiterate since you don't seem to get it. I sent an item out the next day after a price negotiation. I paid for shipping out of my own pocket in hopes that POPTART would reciprocate by holding up his end of the deal by sending a check. I would have been ok with him sending amends after he received the item. I usually retain LOADS of trust in people and I didn't feel like it would be a problem sending out the item before I received remuneration (uh, I will wait while you look that up).
I have insinuated more than once; it is not the $20.00, although I am not in the business of charity and paying for shipping on product for fortuitous people on a wakeskating forum. Honestly, if someone was local here on the forums, I would have had them come by my home and given them the shoes. I wanted to cover my ass shipping wise; and if I could make another couple bux in the transaction, good for me. As we all know that did not happen. I ended up 10+ dollars in the hole, some of my time wasted and a flake ended up with a nice, almost brand new pair of $65.00 wakeskate shoes.
Soon after this particular incident happened, I decided to give the rest of my stuff away at no cost. Including but not limited to; two almost new wakeskates, comp vest and rope. It was not worth the trouble of posting the stuff, paying shipping on the items and not getting anything in return, monetary or elucidation whatsoever. It would have cost me more trying to sell it to flakes like POPTART.
So, all said and done I ended up ahead of the game by giving my extra wakeskating items away as opposed to paying shipping on the stuff and not getting any kind of capital recompense.
So Classy, if you still don't get it, I don't know what to tell you. I would hope Santa brought you "Hooked on Phonics" for Christmas to help your reading comprehension.  |

i call bs on poptart. this day in age there are so many ways to send people $. he could western union it from a phone. drop it in his f'n mail box with a 42cent stamp. im sure he goes home every night to sleep. dont jewelers send and receive mail/packages? i bet he's wearing those shoes right now. im not saying he does not intend to pay, but the real excuse should be "i just dont care and and i'll do it when i feel like it."

Hey, I am a nice guy. If POPTART's cognizance is that atrocious, I guess I would understand why he doesn't respond or pay me. Unfortunately I don't accept that. He post on here almost everyday, but he can't find the time to at least let me know why he has not sent a check or contacted me.
Like I have said, all I wanted was some communication. I have received nothing. I have wrote this whole thing off to a loss but I am not one to just let people take others for a costly ride. Sorry.
I don't care if he is the "raddest dudes" you know. He doesn't hold up his end of a bargain.
If Classy offered to pay up without being so backhanded about it, I would have thought that pretty cool, but I would have still forbid payment. The way he came across was rather abhorrent which IMHO was unnecessary. |

I have sat tight... for over a month.
Truly, I am a forbearing person. I know things come up, especially during the holidays and that is the very reason I did not post this thread for over a month.
What I am having a hard time with is the fact that I PMed POPTART on more than one occasion yet I only received one response. In this one and only response he states he is "super busy". Although he is "super busy" he still finds the time to post in numerous threads on this forum. That right there is what really gets me! If the guy never posted once after our negotiation and nobody ever heard from the him, I think would be a litte easier to swallow the fact he has not contacted me or sent a check.
Again, I am a busy person myself. I found time to box and ship the item the very next day. I found the time to contact POPTART to see if he received the item. I expect the same recompense.
* I sent the shoes over a month ago.
* PMs were sent Nov 24th, Dec 4th, and 9th. I only received one PM back a few days later saying he was busy and when he got a chance to check out the shoes, he would send me payment.
* I let it go for another 15 days after the one and only communication between us to give the guy a chance. IMHO, more than enough time.
*I never heard back from him again.
*I have seen him post up through the 23rd of this month (Dec). |
