So I bought a used omen...

And it broke riding the wake today Mad

! So pissed but not at the guy I bought it from just pissed that $155 went down the drain on my first set on the damn thing. Board looked perfect when I got it. So bummed! Looked down today on my set and there is a big crack in the middle of the deck where the top deck separated from the bottom. This is the first time that I have a broke a board riding the wake but I am not a huge guy, I am 6'0" and about 185lbs, but most boards can handle my abuse easily.

The only thing that could have stressed it was casing the wake. I texted the dude I bought it from but he didn't reply Mad

gatorskater, interesting... That's #2 that I know of that's broken out of the almost 400 production decks I've made. Shoot me a PM with some pictures, I'm interested to see exactly how it broke.

Depending on who you bought it from it might have been one of the B stock decks I sold earlier in the year. I made it pretty clear to people that bought them that there was a good possibility they could fail. You might have gotten one of those decks.
