Help with fin placement for noseslides

Hey guys,
I've been trying to decide the right distant from the nose and/or tail for udders/fins/locks. Does anyone have any thoughts on or experience with how far on the rail your board should be when locking in?

I usually put them right before the rocker turns up (I think like 10 inches of the nose) and like 3 inches from the rail on each side...

Yeah, I've been messing with 8-10 inches but I noticed your 06 integ is less than eight, and I'd really like to to set them up closer to 6 or 7 inches, but that might not be enough.

i put my utters right behind the prekicks, feels good man, around 7-8 inches.

i wish the current integrity decks had the fin holes drilled half way like the 05 and 06 decks.

nick, on your board wouldn't a basic guideline be placing them in the rays coming off your house on the sides? like right outside of the channel
