Dogs?

I'm thinking i want a dog for christmas, and i want the following in this dog.

-Little to no shedding
-Short hair
-around 50-75 pounds
-good temperament (I'm in college, so plenty of people will be around)
-Likes water

Any breeds i should look into? I was thinking Weimraner, but they seem to be pretty protective.

get a pit. as long as your not a bad owner the dog will be the smartest and most well tamed dog you will ever have.

i love mine... im in college and believe me girls love her....

she does shed though.... but only twice a year.... and shes not short hair

erikmonty, haha no way.... why would you ask that... shes very well trained but ive put alot of work into training her... she is very smart and listens very well...

How are they with water? That's an important thing for me as I plan to bring this out on the boat with me when i'm out of college

I screwed up, I meant to point out the no shedding and short hair. I also don't see many Huskies going for a swim.

one of my boxers is an awesome swimmer
the other not so much
she will get in but not past where she can touch , but my other one will swim till she drowned

and cheapskate is right they dont really shed , they are like eyelashes that come off

and i bring both my dogs to the jewelry store with me everyday ( they love the people and kids)

the fat one is the swimmer

my top four dogs
1)Husky JeffKnox, they are awsome dogs have one in ATL that had pups just the coolest nicest dogs; i use to be able to ride on it back name was Nicky Cool

Huskeys love swimming!
2)Dalmation (Loui sublime dog their cool but i heard their dumb dogs Rolling Eyes

3)Border Collie (parents have 2 right now, super nice all was friendly and can be badasses when they need to be, a little hyper though)
4)Pit but everyone has them their generic dogs now

but anyone these u cant go wrong

erikmonty, dude dont talk shizzle on a husky unless uve been around one or really had ur own; they are probably the best dogs a bit expensive if i remeber right.

but girls love them; and how cool is it saying u have a dog that is half wolf Very Happy

(they are of wolf decents)

JeffKnox, but i perfer the brown ones but huskys have the most beutiful blue eye

i don't think husky should live anywhere with less then 5 months of solid snow winter..

pick up a unregistered dog its alot cheaper.
