idea #1 =
i have been to multiple winch spots where people are fishing.. which is coo and all, but it got me thinking.. so i did some research and found this website boatlessfishing.com and these dudes talk about spots that are coo 2 fish.. so i want get on there discussion forums and ask these bros where they fish that is equivalent to what im looking for.. maby post some pix so they know what were talking about... thing is i tried 2 sign on and never got a response from boss man 2 accept my request .. so thats gay ..

idea # 2 =
most of the spots that i have hit have not been owned by 1 person and mostly belong to the state.. now, there has to be some construction company building these drop offs for the state gov. if we get lucky it will be one company under contract building spillways for the whole county.. if we can just get a hold of these bros and ask them where in our city/county they have built drop offs/dams/spillways, or what ever it would save us multiple hours on google earth.

throw me some feedback ..

chyeah

Grasso I don't think they outsource to companies I believe it is the army corps of engineers that do the design and construction.

try kyackers (sp?) too sometimes you can ride UP stuff they go down.

or trout fisherman ussually know the "woods and water" pretty well. take some photos of winching gaps to these stores and you be amazed how they will open up.

good luck.

i found a few new gaps in michigan were planning to hit next summer this way.

idea 2.....

We need to get who ever designs these things to start winching, then they might design in winchability to the design.

Grasso, Love this thread!! I haven't found anywhere online any info on fishladder location. I think you need to contact Fish N Game or the wildlife control people. I know Oregon Fish n Game has maps and knows all the locations of fishladders and spill ways.

I've spent many hours on my iphone or computer looking up and down every stream, river, creek, lake I can find!!

Lets keep trying!!! Smash
