about 300, I bought it used on craigslist for 100, reused the 2x4s, screws, coping, blocks and recut the plywood transition. Had to buy a couple 2x4s plywood for the surface and paint. 3' tall 10' wide.

It's on now! Got the last corners double plyed so it's totally ridable now. Pourin the coping on Tuesday then finishing the skatelite right after that. Thing is so freakin fun.

austheboss713, That's because the skatelite was second hand stuff from all over the place: Tim Kulas's Mango Bowl in Orlando, Kettner's 10ft. clamshell here in Stuart, different Team Pain projects including the X-Games, and a couple of other ramps. Definately pieced together at a total cost of about $1500 bucks. Can't beat that.

Almost there! Escalator and Tranny/Pumper built and poured along with corners. All that is left is to pour one last little flat wall and skatelite that whole deep end. So damn hyped.

thisolcowboy, thanks man. The bowl's really the brainchild of Tim Kulas, I've just been working on it a whole lot with him. It's 4'6" w/ 5'6" extension and a 5'3" taco, the trannies are 6'6",8' flat bottom so it's quick, the hip is 25 or 30 deg, the escalator has a 2" to every 1' slope, and the tranny escalator is just eyed out, funky, and doubles as a pump bump for rollin in.. The coping came out great, super stoked on it. Nice thing about it is that the forms and tubing are reusable so anything poured with them from now on will only be like $2-3 a foot, can't beat that. The bowl is located in Port St. Lucie, about 40 miles north of Palm Beach. You ever get down this way you are more than welcome to session it. Always a super good vibe there and always some tastey BBQ on the grill. What more could you ask for ya know. Just hit me up and it is on.

it looks fun. speaking from experience that hip looks similar to what i have in my bowl and that makes the whole bowl flow. Tight trannies and less flat are key ingredients for a good bowl. That's cool you helped out throughout. There's always a few peeps you can count on when its time to work, but when its time to skate they all show up. Probably better that way. I dont get to south florida often, but if i do its on my list. Nothing better than drinking beers in the backyard and shredding pool block. NC has real good backyard scene right now going on as well. This ladies and gentleman is still why America is a sick country to live in.
