Is it relatively safe to plan a vacation to Orlando in mid-Feb? Want to take the kids to Disney World/Nick Hotel etc, and that is about the only time we could go. _________________

The dude is asking for advice. Stop being douche bags about it.
He's very likely asking about what the weather will be like (is this during rainy season, or how warm will it be, etc), and also tourist-wise. Is this during peak season? Are there a lot of people from the northern states traveling down to enjoy the warmer weather at this time? Or is there a more ideal time to visit the area? _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

Orlando is absolutely beautiful and relatively cool in Feb. AKA not melting hot. Usually lower chance of rain that time of year. I prefer March for outdoor activities in Orlando though and October. February you may still hit a cold snap, but daytime highs will range from 55-75F
Disney is on the South side of the city... and the cool people all live on North side. Don't you forget it. Come pay us a visit. _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

weather wise it will be a bit chilly ( at least for us floridians)until later spring...... you might want to avoid the water rides but universal studios should be fun.... most of that stuff is dry and pretty cool _________________ PAVT since '05/'06 |

Thanks for the input on the weather and/or gang activity. I guess I should have been more specific. Really, I just don't want my family to be eaten manatees... are they still hibernating in Feb or will they be roaming the streets again by that time of year?
Anyway, I guess we'll just have to take our chances and hope for a few sunny days - or at least no rain. Thanks for the info. _________________

just check for school breaks as said above, and f you're going to disney, stay at disney. orlando s pretty safe, but parts can be dangerous. just look on the disney sites to see the seasonal rates and stuff to figure it out. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be.
