I think it's really hard to choose just one. Like, if I had children and I had to choose my favorite babe, i don't know if I could do it.
I will say that sfumato is my all time favorite film, and if I'm in a hurry and can only watch a short amount of that film, my favorite clip will change--maybe it's the opening credits, or horrell, or danny, or jim...but right now I think it's aaron. His riding always kicked ass, but I wasn't always super into the song. You know, it was just much easier for the postal service to work their way into my heart and mind. Anyway, a.reed's song was good, but for awhile there, it just didn't do it for me like the others. Now, I think that song works SO well for that section because all it does is build up all of his shizzle. I seriously can't think of a better way to do it because that sectionwas a huge deal. And the way the music transitions, you can picture in your mind how certain parts have lip tricking or ledge slaying, etc etc....I love it. and it's cool how a sort of dissonant section of the song was used to tie together danny and thomas' bangers--it was like the common thread between them and it felt like it was building up something bigger.
So yeah! Right now it's a.reed in sfumato!
But I have to add that cole munster is like my original inspiration, because when I saw his section in LP...his style coupled with that music all just made me want nothing more than to look that casual on a wakeskate. He seriously just made everything look so eash and like it wasn't a big deal. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

After careful review of my favorite parts Aaron Reed in NARLA, Thomas Horrell in Sfumato, Nick Taylor in Volume 6, and Nick Taylor in Esoteric i have made my decisision.
Nick's part in Esoteric is my current favorite video part.
The song is epic with good build up but still has a really fun vibe to it.
The riding is super technical and he does his tricks super popped and clean. No one does ollie 3s like Nick. No spinning on the water.
The riding was very diverse. He had great w2w riding, with tech lip tricks, flats madness, winching, and domination of rails.
The footage was from a longer period of time. I like when footage is accumulated over time rather then when a part is filmed in a weekend, you can really tell the difference.
And the editing was awesome. Keef and David did a great job. Such a fun part and video.
I thank this thread for giving me reason to procrastinate on my huge paper ive been trying to finish. haha |

Danny Hampson in any movie really I just love his style. Aaron Any movie haha. Nick in vol. 6 is not my favorite the riding is amazing but I was really disappointed in the song. Push Process have good parts by both danny and GD. GD in Counterfeit this, He kills it. I <3 wakeskating vids. _________________ ..........Oak.......... |
