i like rip curl. it all depends on the water temp though for what you get. if it's going to be REALLY COLD get a 4/3 if not get a 3/2. you're better off spending more money on a nice suit b/c it will last forever and be more flexible, etc. i have a neilpryde 3/2 full suit that i've had since i was 15 and i'm 23 now. i also have a ripcurl 3/2 spring that i freaking love.

i'm east coast and i wear shorts with my spring but never with the full.

spring suits are pretty gay anyway. if it's cold enough to wear at suit at all just go full. if not rock shorts and maybe a top if needed. I wont touch a suit at all during winter unless I'm in the ocean anyway.

it wasn't neon it was a 70's scuba spring suit that had a felt like liner Very Happy

and that was just for the funny. and yes it was WAY too small lol oh and I didn't wear shorts with it Cool

I have the Oneill epic i think, and it worked great for me, and this was in Michian right after the ice melted, id shop around tho cause i think you can get it cheaper than 150
