First and foremost, I believe that anyone on this website should be banned for bringing up any fun topic, especially the nollie variation.

Secondly in my outlined plan, I believe that as President of this great wakeskate nation, I will request a pork barrel earmark for the research and development of nollie-able nose tails for skatewakes. I believe this action will bring coorporations and large, nose hungry CEO's into the industry and rob it of it's innocence and virginity.

Thirdly, I am going back outside. Wink

I don't think it'd work... the way a board pops off the water is a reaction from pushing down into the water and allowing the board to come up... The way we travel on the water won't let us pop backwards.... Think about it again... It's not skateboarding......

And that's my opinion...

But I'd love to be proven wrong and someone figure it out...... Nub-less Nollie

Keep pushing!!

Go ride!

it seems possible. the physics: are when you push down on the tail of the board and in turn on the water, an equal and opposite reaction takes place to push you off the water and into the air. and i have experimented and while the pop is nothing like that of a skateboard in physics, in theory it should be possible. it would be practically the same as a normal skateboard ollie to a skate nollie, just more difficult to master since the water comes into play, which can take your board out from under you if an edge is at all submerged. maybe a board with a huge rocker or sumthin. idk someone try this out! EJazzle, yeah video!!

TWG took the words out of my mouth!

When u nollie on a skate board u pop forward, water won't let us pop forward. Can a Wakeboarder nollie?

I think it's going to come down to a board with a nose that doesn't dive into the water but pushes back.

Video video video!!

does nobody see that if it were possible someone would have done one surely?
i mean it isn't nearly as tech as a v flip
and if it means making a board with a stupid amount of rocker, it'd be pretty much useless for anything else woudln't it?

Nollie on water is very possible
and the reason no one has done one is b/c a board would hav to be made specifically for it
that's y no one has done one
and if someone makes me a decent board similar to my specifications i would be happy to do one on video for all the people who think it can be done
but as spowell said the board would be basically worthless besides for nollies
i think if someone wants to try it they should get a snowskate (the single layer ones) and try it as a wakeskate
and to all the people who think it CAN'T be done
i bet byerly and everyone else who used wakeboards without the bindings never thought that it would be possible for people to do tre flips with them

So to all the people who think it can't be done I strongly disagree with your opinion b/c you don't know what the future will bring

nollie is possible since you are going so fast on water you cant do it riding straight like a regular ollie turn a little first fs and you will be able to do it

that video proves nothing, pause it at 28 sec, you can see when he pops off that the splash comes from his back foot. It just so happens that his front foot is really far up the nose.

Think about it, when you do a regular ollie, the back end of the board submerges below the water line, in order to create pressure to snap off. You don't need this for skateboarding because your on a solid surface. So even if you made a board with a ridiculous amount of rocker, in order to pop it, you would still have to submerge the nose below the water line.

Which is why no one has a video of a legit nose popped off the water cause they would munch it.
Idea Idea Idea Idea

RedShred14, its the stance, and the rotation of the trick, "fakie" is a form of standing on the board, a. it was out of the water. b. it rotated all the way around and anytime your going 22mphs the splash willllllllllllllll be behind you.
