|
|
O.k, so I been married for 5 years now. 5 LONG years. And the last couple the wife has said "I want my own bed/room." I say shut up and go to bed. Personally I think we should sleep in the same bed for our whole life. She's telling me on a couple of her mommy/clothing forums that many women have their own beds or bedrooms. And a few are saying it's too uncommon for a couple to sleep in different beds/rooms. Who does this? _________________ http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ |

Screw that!! No way.... Maybe after like 50 years of marriage, uncontrollable bowels and a snoring problem, but my Lithuania Grandparents slept in the same bed until my Grandfather died. Keep it old school and keep it real. _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

How many children do you have?
I am friends with a particular married couple (knew the dad for years before he met his wife) and they have 2 children now and the mom insists on sleeping in a different bedroom since the birth of the kids. Apparently it's not uncommon, but my first instinct is to say the marriage is failing and this is her way of distancing herself. Then again, maybe there's another reason?
Uidzero and I have been dating 9 years this Halloween (almost twice your marriage) but no children and the thought of having another bedroom where I can sleep without him hasn't crossed my mind, though I can see the validity of needing a good night's rest if you kick or something..
What is her reasoning for the other bedroom? Do you both routinely have sex and act like a loving couple etc? Or do you think something else is going on? _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

caprice sun, yeah, but waking up next to the one you love is a pretty good way to start your day
taku, does that feeling wear off after 9 years?
if not, then my point is valid, she is sleeping in your bed, extra bathroom optional |

What.. that feeling of wanting to be with someone forever? Being lucky to be together and loving and enjoying hanging out with that person all the time? Not if it's the right person _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

Le Jalapeno, I have a joke you'll like.
Why do women have small feet?
So they can stand closer to the sink and stove
BTW for the record, telling your beotch to get in the kitchen and do the dishes doesn't result in good things so don't get the wrong idea you youngin's! _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

savagegarrick, oh man, i'm sorry to hear this... i know it's been rough... but i wasn't sure how bad...
call me when you get a chance, this doesn't sound good, not coming from her... but then maybe she's still dealing with it all... i know she hates the work schedule and all.
i'll be back in the county december 16th, let me buy you lunch, and talk more about this.
don't tell her, but we'll be praying for yall. _________________

what if there are no marriage problems and she just wants her own bed to sleep in?
you know those situations that are actually very simple but everyone over thinks them and creates a problem when there never really was a problem to begin with...? |
