i'm looking into buying like $250- in Dinars. Has anyone else done this yet ? Anyone know the risk associated with it ?
It seems like a safe bet, as long as the Dinar doesn't drop any lower..... _________________

if ur talking about the currency, i would advise you put ur money in Swiss Franks. Its a very stable currency that has never really seen much flux. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/trosswakeskatesftw

I was told that whole Dinar thing is a scam. Look up Iraqi Dinar scam. I've known about this for several years now. Kinda hard to believe you can buy into a currency when a gov't isn't really established. We own them. We're gonna be fighting there a long time. I guess the currency investment could be real but it sounds scetchy. And you get sheets uncut. Why uncut? anyway, if you got a few hundred to blow and don't care, go ahead. _________________ http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ |

but some idiot that i work with bought $3000 worth of the money with Saddam Hussien on it, hoping it would be worth alot when the economy turned around... he didn't do so well

but here's a reference http://www.iraqidinar.org/ got good info... like this:

but who knows... maybe he can sell them back to Saddam (who's currently sipping mojito's on some secret island) when he comes back to destroy the world... _________________
