Nobody is interested in seeing tOSU get dominated in a BCS game AGAIN, in Los Angeles AGAIN, and by USC AGAIN.

scott a, the sec is one of the toughest conferences in ncaa football. are you blind? look at the top 10. USC is grossly overrated, and the same goes for OSU.

scott a, Yea maybe that's because the SEC is the best conference in college football. You trade any SEC schedule with USC's schedule and see how they fair out. USC against Georgia, LSU, FLorida, and Tennessee (not so much this year though) in the same season, pretty much every season? Yea probably not, USC.

This doesn't really prove anything, I'm just bringing it up cuz I'm petty. Refresh my memory, which conference is undefeated and has the most wins in the BCS championship games? I believe USC's batting .500 in that department.

All that matters is Florida, Georgia, Alabama, LSU are all better than any other team in the country and they all come from the same conference.

I do agree that the SEC has been the best conference over the past few years, but I don't think it's by as big a margin as SEC fans like to think. And I'm sure USC would fair well in the SEC, but I don't expect you to realize how good USC is because you guys hardly ever get to see them play due to Pac 10's lame ass tv deals Confused

And about your ridiculously tough schedule, whatever. Check the Sagarin computer rankings (here) and you'll see the average SOS in the pac 10 is 10.7, and SEC's average SOS is 20. Lower number is obviously better here. So yes, there are some real tough games being played in the SEC, but there are also equally as many (if not more) cupcake match ups to balance it out.

And by the way, the Pac 10 is 10-7 versus the SEC in head to head games.

scott a, head to head matchups vs conference doesn't mean anything, that could have been ole miss vs usc for all we know and that would count as a head to head win for pac 10.

What I'm trying to say is, the top 3 teams, Florida, Georgia, Alabama...

would destroy the top team, USC in a head to head. Can you argue that?

the SEC IS the toughest conference in ncaa football. florida, georgia, alabama, tennessee(usually) always have great football programs.

skimboarder, Auburn, South Carolina, I can go on forever. Not to mention there are other teams SEC opponents have to play that are good like Miami, good this year, USF, and FSU who is having a strong year.
