80's whereare ya....not in the 10 day forecast  ho well, too many good fall days are ahead to count so i should enjoy the rest now, cause when it's good..............

Raven, wanna hear a joke?
the guys showed up, with the parts we need to fix the plane, tonight at 11:30pm..... and the airline lost the luggage.... so we're STUCK here in africa with a broken plane waiting on parts that may be somewhere in the Congo right now.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

and there's this one alfa male gorilla that is really big and strong and VERY smart, and since they are protected and nurtured there and NOT kept on dislpay they are not penned up, their cages are open on top and this alfa male gorilla, named Jack, has figured out how to escape at night and goes into the village and steals soda's and food from the bakery and the market and the villagers come to the wildelife center demanding to be reimbursed from Jack's "night's out"!!

What part are you in? I sure as hell didn't get to see any of that whenI was there. But of course we weren't allowed of base.

savagegarrick, WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN????? mick told me he's tried to get you to come out a few times but you never call back!! i've been wanting to call you but everytime i remember it's like 4am your time, how's life?
i'm in cameroon, there's no base here we're staying in a hotel in Douala, and we work out of the public airport.. but we lost an engine so we had 10 days off waiting for a new engine

Rocket, Dude I don't know how you always luck out with the best possible experiences you could get in the navy. And I get the worst.
Yeah Mick actually maybe called twice. The first time he cancelled for weather. I was ready know matter what. And actually ended up going out with Tony. Yeah the water was garbage. And the next time I had just been switched to night check which I'm still on and I'm the onlty CDI, so no time off for me. Dude, it sucks here now. Nothin' like when you were here. Time off is like non-existent. Enjoy your navy vacations.

(btw, everyone else i'm here in Cameroon with HATES it here and is miserable every day we are stuck here) i can't get enough of this place.... i just make it fun for me

well now we fixed all the gripes with 332, got ready for low power turns and #4 oil cooler actuator craps out... and our QA (who's an idiot) tried to take it apart to fix it, and the rest of us could all see what was wrong and how to fix it, but because he's a 20 year 1st class he won't let us touch it... jackass..... then he went and broke it more.. so now we gotta wait for a new one to get shipped to cameroon....
and we can't even get a rescue mission out here.... we don't have anymore planes at sig, and the one we had is hard down and got recalled to Jax for serious issues... thank God for per diem
