i'm building a mini ramp in my backyard and i heard that you can use pvc pipe instead of metal pipe for the coping. any one heard of this? the pvc is only like $5 when metal pipes is like $30 each. |

Le Jalapeno, really? i figured if you did anything on the trucks it wouldn't slide too well. i know if you try to boardslide pvc it's suppper slick. |

you'll slide fine on pvc but metal feels better and when you lock in on a grind it sounds sick. just go steal some pipe from somewhere |

I'd get black steel pipe if you want something super fast (but it rusts over time). If your ripping, galvanized is fine, it's not like it slows you down by any means. Black steel pipe = maitenance. _________________ @rgetter |

man up. take the pvc down. do one side metal and the other pool block. nothing better than a frontside grind on pool copping. you will thank yourself 100 times later.
whenever you skate somewhere else you will be able to rip. pvc is for kids. |

how are you all fastening metal pipe? back in my days of skating,...we didnt bother with coping. now my son is into it so am thinking of building a small one similar to SAMM's half pipe. of coarse for the both of us. |
