its not whos better its whos more popular and mostly wakeboarders vote on that so of course there gonna think that grub is better because he gets more covarge,mag,vid and he goes bigger in all those adds than any one else

Why doesn't wakeskating.com have a skater of the year or something to that effect? That way the wakeSKATERS can "vote" on the wakeskater of the year.

wow, how about we dont give any credit to any of the hyperlite riders. man they must just suck completely and only be popular because they know someone on the inside. im sure grubb's wins on the tour were a fluke too. however, as of this moment right now i'd definitely say that danny, aaron, and thomas are all riding better than anyone out there. but grubb's/byerly's POPULARITY might be a little higher than some others because the of the recent "boom" of the industry, and at the same time grubb and byerly were heading it up, not to mention scott b. innovating the sport. but as time goes on danny hampson and reed and horrell will be leading the pack along with some others.

no one said they sucked, they just didnt happen to make my top 5 list. their boards however, do suck. and theyre popularity isnt because of the boom in the industry its because they ride for hyperlite

i think hyperlite boards deserve alittle more credit then they get. They are extremly durable, work awesome on rails, probably the most finless control you can get. Also did anyone else ever notice integrity ripped off hyperlites tip and tail channels? I guess not, half of you out there hate hyperlite to death but atleast there designs didnt rip anyone off. There designs are there own, they may not be the best but they are good in there own sense.
