You know something, I recently went through two very distinct and opposing experiences with board companies and I realized: its nice to be treated like the customer is a worthwhile and important aspect of the company/buyer relationship and not like we should be grateful that we got the opportunity to drop X amount of dollars for god's f*in gift to wakeskatin and we should take what we get when we get it.
I suppose the point of this rant is to say know the company you are investing in and really think about what you want and what you are gonna get! There are really friendly companies out there, who care about you as a customer, and there are others who, well care significantly less.
