Dragon88 and I, being the radical shradmeisters we are, decided to get in on the towable rail craze today. But unfortunately all we had was a waterski rope and a tire innertube. Did we let that stop us?.. NO...
But since rubber doesn't really slide, we had to take the "rail" out of towable rail, which only left us with towable. The tube was really light and bounced all over the place, and you could push it around just by taking a hard turn away from it and spraying it. You could pick it up and throw it, which was effective if you didnt feel like jumping over it or just wanted to let out aggression.
You can do w2w airs over it, but you can't look at it when you are cutting in or else you will trip out. You can also lift up your nose and rest part of your board on it like a half-assed nosestall, I think if you put all your weight on one end it would tip over. My personal favorite was coming up to it HS and sitting down, keeping your feet on your skate and resting, but you had to keep some weight on the skate or else the tube would probably sink/tip. It was probably 1/2 the size of an innertube made for riding on and made of really flimsy rubber, which as I found out, is no good when you try and leave the skate behind and ride on it. And since the tube had a hole in it, it was almost completely deflated by the end of our runs.
Overall it was one of the most extreme experiences of my life, and I would encourage everybody to find stupid crap to tow and mess around with, there are some good laughs to be had. _________________

ive done the same thing...only not quite. mine was with an actual tube for tubing..but i got on it with my wakeskate and just held on to the handle with my hands instead of tying it onto the tube, and then i tried to stand up with my skate in my hand and acid drop onto the skate while going. doesnt work at all but damn its funny. my friend couldnt stop laughing for 10 minutes straight. _________________ R.I.P. And there's no way anybody is going to see a manatee, then say calmly " Hey look, a manatee." Those are some scary lookin motherfckers.
