i started wakeskating in the middle of last summer..
and i have always used fins.. but lately people have told me to take them off..so should i use fins or not..?  _________________ God might have walked on water..but i skate on water.. |

theguynextdoor0, its all about preference. if you are more comfortable with 2 fins then ride 2 fins. if you are more comfortable with no fins then ride no fins.... and also try riding 1 fin and see how you like that...
once you start riding more you will have more of a set opinion.

are flat land tricks such as BS shuvits and FS shuvits easier without fins..
and if i used one fin should i put in on the tail or the nose..? _________________ God might have walked on water..but i skate on water.. |

if they are surface shuvits, you dont want fins. if they are popped shuvits, fins give you more control

It dosent matter becuase if you do a shuvit, it switches, but if you dont do shuvits yet, put it in the back |

then it doesn't matter what side you put it on. when i ride one fin i will usually have it in the front though cuz i usually dont ride fins. i just like having a fin for switch _________________ -andrew- |

dude, riding without fins is so much better! once i took mine off i have yet to put them back on any of my skates and i doubt i ever will. |

theguynextdoor0, i rode the armada almost all last season and the channels in the board are plenty (stability wise) i'd say go finless with that board.
if it was a concave with no channels, i'd say go with one fin, but make sure you know when the fin is in back _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com
