School Time Changes

well i know this doesn't affect many of you but in Orange County FL, they have switched Middle school and High School's schedules. Middle School's will now begin at 7:20 am and end at 2:00 pm, and now the high school students (Myself included) start school at 9:30 am and end at 4:10 pm. Which means I, and many other students, don't get home till around 5:00pm. This sucks. They are doing this to get rid of 26 school drivers and thus save $6 million. Big problems however. Elementary and Middle schoolers are going to have to find someone to watch them as they wait for their older siblings to get home. Many juniors and seniors are going to have to quit jobs because of this change. And last year a few days a week i could skate after school, but i guess its not happening anymore. School starts in a week.

Oh well, early morning butter sets FTW

OMG!! i wish this happened down here! i have been waking up at like 6 every school day for the last 3 years, we do have LTMs every other thursday though. LTMs are when you go to school at 10:40

Dude i love waking up early to get to school, cause i got home at 2:30!!!! Now I'm getting home at 5:00!!!!

The Kid, phailol i used to cut my first 3 classes when i was in my senior year cause they were student assitant and weight lifting to go get a early morning surf in. i cant imagine getting out at 5:00 thats going to be so late. 2:30 felt late

The Kid, dude ive been home from school at 230 like once lol. I have practice everyday after school. School ending at 4 would mean its not as hot for practice. Very Happy

That does suck. I thought 3:27 was late too last year. Oh well. Now at college i go in at 9 and am out of classes by 1215 every day. Laughing

DirtyCracker, we snatched gregg as he was walking past the locker room. we held him down stripped him of his garments and whipped the shiIt out of him. then we made him wash all of our backs.

in middle school i didnt get home until about 4:45 but now in high school i start at 7:20 and end at 1 because my lunch is from 1-2 but i am free to leave school so i just bail at 1 grab some checkers or soemthing on the way home and am home by about 1:30 Birthday
