your very observant....484 just took the cassette presses or molds or whatever, and make exact replicas of cassette boards cuz they are lazy good for nothings.

I used to ride the Tech 42. I liked it alot better then my heavy Cassette 4trac until it delamed. Then I was back on the 'ol 4trac.

I have also road a Tech 42. It is an ok board, as far as performance, but it also delamed rather quickly.

I havent had any problems with it yet im a beginner tho so i havent probly been riding it like you guys do but i plan on trying to hit some rails with it by the end of the summer here i hope it holds up. I dont really have any info tho on how it rides compared to others. Well thats my 2 cents.

Both boards are cheap, cheap things dont last long, most of these boards last just about a seasons and are ment to so u can buy a new one from the company! My friend just got a new 41' concave LF after about 5 runs it was delaminating, then my other firned got a 43' Flat LF a ply was peeling off the underside after the 2nd ride. I just ordered a 43' Flat LF, i dont care it was cheap, ima get a new concave in december for x-mas. go wiht whateve ru can afford!

you are even more behind than i thought, if you think there isnt many differences, you are way off. yes they used to be alike but now look at it. LF is making only flat and concave wakeskates where cassette has completely changed theres to flat, a-sym(different than concave), and now coming bi-deck. cassette also ventured into making the very popular four track.

NewbSkate

all there boards are still concave, concave means the top of the board is fished out to give a little lip on the edge and help keep your feet slighty elevated and the pressuer on the heels and toes, there just different in shape and lf boards and 484 and 03 cassette concaves excluding the 4-trac where the same[/quote]
