Starting Pool is 40ft long, 16ft wide, and 2ft deep
Landing Pool is 48ft long, 16ft wide, and 3ft deep
Gap is 20 feet and going to be filled with hay bales and old stinky mattresses haha.

the water pressure is a b!tch, seriously support the crap outta ur pool frame. and why are u strating in the lower pool? pretty much opposite of what anyone else will build. my suggestion if u want to have a higher pool would be to make both pools the same length so u can run either way. particle board will just not last forever, ull be fine for a lil while, and depending on how good you support the walls, will matter a great deal in how long it lasts, good luck

haha the kid in the first picture is peeeing like a man!

That wood will do fine for a little while but the second that stuff gets wet you're fvcked. It just warps and crumbles.

Well they are both completely above ground and I don't want to land in 2ft of water, so I decided to make the second pool bigger so that landing and/or crashing in it wouldn't always end with the ground. We filled the small pool overnight last night and had a blow out on one of our pieces of wood, but now that we understand the force, we will rebrace everything correctly.

luckily, he's using a garden hose to fill them up with so........ by the time there filled up with water the wood will be petrified.

Hunter B., if u look up the the blacktop brodeo from a while back ull see that even on concret u can land in 1ft of water from a 7ft drop. dont over think it! its was better to gap down, ull most likely turn it around, sliding up while being pulled by a winch especialy over a 20ft gap is gna be a serious operation, going down how ever will be way more fun, but u live and u learn so have fun!

Particle board can resist the weather better then i once thought. The jax pool gap we had was built mostly of particle wood and lasted for a year until we tore it down.
