and the beach for winching.
also you cant forget about the desert for riding!

Glamis is cool, BUT speaking from expierence, you're prob not going to want to go to glamis on a busy weekend. (unless you have some sort of death wish). You'll have a blast if you get a chance to go during the week, when no one is there, b/c glamis is worse (in terms of drinking/driving related accidents) than havasu on a holiday- and that's a feat in itself.
I don't know if it's the sand you're after, or the expierence, but Ocotillo Wells is a lot more fun & you don't have to worry as much about some drunk dude in a sand rail running you (or your family) over. It's still kinda crazy too on holiday weekends, but it can't get much better than Ocotillo on an off weekend (october).
If I didn't sell my dirtbike, I'd show you around.
OC > LA...
You're going to want to be as close to San Diego as possible after you go to Stone, Pizza Port, Ale Smith, Ballast Point, and Green Flash...

I really prefer OC to LA. Only driver would be a stellar job in LA.
I was out in Glamis for Halloween, and it was very crazy and certainly dangerous. Going to comp hill at 2AM on the sand highway with the trophy trucks passing you by at 100mph got my adrenaline going. I was introduced to the drunk in the sand rail as well. Scary shizzle!
Weekdays are the best no doubt. I am definitely after the sand and not the party. What kind of bike are you selling?
I heard great things about Ocotillo, Pismo, Calico, Imperial and of course BAJA. I have some catching up to do.
Have you hit the wave house in SD?

jacque_mehoff, Honda CRF250- sold it in December to buy a new mac. I haven't been to the wave house yet. Every time I go to San Diego, I get stuck at the breweries. Should be a cable park sometime in the not so distant future. Add that to the list...

Nice bike. I have my eye on a KTM 300. There are 0 in this area. Looks like Phoenix is loaded with cheap bikes.
Scotta will come down for the tri-fecta, Surf, Ski/board, Glamis all in one day.
