whats good to use when you are wanting to put a design or w/e onto griptape? it should be something that wont get too slippery. any suggestions? _________________ -Cape Canaveral- |

i used spray paint. i didn't put too many coats, it's holding up fine and it's not slippery. |

I can't imagine they work very well. It seems like it would just clog up the grip way bad, and then when it got in the sun and the wax melted it would make a mess. _________________ Sattelyte Wakeskates

dont use too much spray paint if you do decide to use spray paint. it makes the grip tape alot less grippy. _________________ TEAM FUN!!!!!!

I've done a lot of drawing on my grip and paint pens rock. You can find a nice variety at a good arts and crafts store. the real paint pens are kind of pricey, but I found a different kind of pen that you don't have to shake up, but still works like a paint pen. They're still kind of expensive, but not nearly as much as a true paint pen, and i've found a lot more variety in color options, and the pens i found have dual tips--one end is fine and the other end is wider.
For the actual deck, like if I'm making a design that one can view through cutouts and such, then I've used spray paint. I like to get arty because i like to look down at something sick. It gets me fired up and just loving life. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
