| Now i'm pretty sure that most people are gonna be pickin grip for this one but i was lookin for pros AND cons to BOTH. Now if you've only ridin one type then you are of no use to me because obviously what your riding is the "best". so lets not try to ripe on the foam to badly and get some feedback from both worlds.... cool? |

| This has been discussed quite a few times already. If you do a search ( http://www.wakeskating.com/forum/search.php ), you will find plenty of results comparing grip and foam. |

here are some pluses i have found with foam
:it doesnt hurt as bad when you fall
:it almost sticks to your feet
:lasts longer
Here are some i have found with grip
:you can get closer to the true contours of the board
:it doesnt "absorb" the ollie as much,
thats all i can think of _________________ endproductions... |

Well thanks for all your comments i have only ridein a grip board once and i cant realy tell the diffrence between grip and foam i agree with feeling the natural contour of the board foam has a diffrence in the way u feel the board but i like the feel of foam as appose to grip.

Could I take my foam off of my board and put regular skate grip on there? I would like to do that if I can, CUz its 5 bucks a sheet at my skate shop and I could do it pretty easy, or have them do it. They have a bunch of cool styles, Clear, Pink, some other colors and then black. But I think clear would be cool because you would see the wood grain show through, my brother has it on his skate duck... _________________

volcom_wakeboarder, if you did clear you could paint on the top of your deck, and then put the clear over and u could still see it...i think thatd be tight _________________ JMU |

seven11dmd, ya that would be bad, like stencil something on there, or you could even put a magazine ad in there(ex:REEF) and then it would show. _________________

seven11dmd, or I could paint the top to match the bottom of the skate or invert the colors and then put the clear grip on, or just do black grip and a white stripe... _________________

What i think would be nuts is if u painted the top like the bottom and the bottom like a grip tape look so it looked like u where rideing it upsidedown.volcom_wakeboarder, ya dude u should do that it would be sick. just a suggestion _________________ "look at me, look at me, Im a little crap talker on the internet and all the people I talk shizzle about could kill me if they met me on the street because Im a fourteen year old punk"
