Yo i'm going to buy a outboard motor to put on my tin Misty River and i dont know how much HP i need to do deep water starts on skates and wakeboards. I was hoping to put a lil wight in it too and get one of those cheap like outboard skipole/pylon type things.

Any help or advice is greatly greatly apreaciated!

If you just have a small wake don't bother with weight cause your not really going to get a wake.

I think maybe you should call a Misty River dealer in your area and see what size of motor is recommended for the particular hull design that you have.

I'm from Markham,Ontario it like 20 minutes form Toronto.
So 15 HP is enough to get up on a skate deepwater even. doesn't seem like it could be enough. I dont know enough tho i've never tried to get up on a small tin boat like that.
