RUSSIAN, so why not a cheaper boat and use the extra money to water dance all the time? as far as the market. anyone could see this price hike coming.

I have to work regardless, a cheaper boat is not going to allow me any more time on the water.

EJazzle, i LOVE needing to have a truck. for my lifestyle, i couldn't drive a car. i wish they'd come out with a hybrid truck like the new tahoes. the tacoma would be sold in a month if they did. mine is lifted three inches with 34" BFG all terrains, but i've got a couple under the hood mods that bump my mpg up around 18. stock it was probably 20 but either way, 30 mpg on a hybrid truck would be immaculate.

As someone else said an electric engine with the old style NiMH batteries would work well in a boat. Lithium Ion batteries are prone to heat and fire today. That doesn't work well in a boat where the fire danger is much higher.

Diesel is a good option. even though the fuel is more expensive the higher torque at lower RPM translates into better fuel economy in a wake boat.

SOmeone from Europe please chime in here because i've read lots of articles about diesel enabled wake boats before.

The ski is the way to go for skating though. i just got one because it makes too much sense not to have one for learning new stuff.

i am converting my land cruiser diesel to veggie oil. its a super super easy conversion, costs about 400 bucks and after thats its FREEE. i found a local restaraunt that is willing to give me their used oil. i drop of a 55 gallon drum, they fill it and acll me to come get it. u have tto run it through a filter but other than that is easy. at 4.31 a gallon for diesel. i am more than willing to do a lil extra work for free fuel.
