So lately ive been riding at a longer length.. mainly just because it makes the start up ollies so much more fun.. Wait till i get video of them.
Does anyone else notice this on start ups? |

I've noticed it helps make everything a little bit more comfortable riding at a longer length |

GREAT TOPIC. I find that it all depends on the boat. |

| well to me it seems that sweet spot, u know right where the white wash is starting, is always in the same spot.. so if u have a longer rope you can cut out farther before cutting towards the start up roller, thus resulting in more speed and higher pop |

| 1800-jason, i've noticed the same. if i go full length the lip is ugly, but the startups and i/o's are great. |

i like a long rope. although on a bigger boat it seems like the kicker...ends up kicking my a$$......i shortened it up the other day and the rentry was nice.....and the inside out, not as steep. the w2w's are easier
but something about a long rope gives u a long time....to think about the madnees, radness that be. but think too much you'll never get any pop cause your way up in your head trying to pop your steeze, coiling your roots getting ready to burst that big baby that's where it all starts deep down. thats why it feels so good when you stomp that shizzle.....it came from deep down, so when it hits home......it hits that log cagin deep in the forest. _________________ dbanana wrote:

heres something fun to do. put your rope out like 90 - 100 ft behind a ski. get a wakesurf and just do HUGE i/o 1's and back1's, shuvs, 3 shuvs, body varials.... it is so much fun! _________________
