| so we were skating today on the pocomoke in my nautique.and we rolled up to the dock and there was this guy and his daughter launching their brand new supra 24 ssv. let me tell you. that has got to be the nicest boat ive ever seen. sounded awesome and was just huge. i wish i could have one of them. but then when i look at my old nautique, id rather have an old skate boat...jsut goes to show how simple us skaters are compared to the boarders.

I know, lately when I'm out in the bay off my friends little boat or my 96' jetski theres been a NICE ass mastercraft and they're strappers. But you need a ski boat to board compared to a skate, you don't NEED a wake for a skate compared to a board.

Le Jalapeno, i have, if i wouldn't fall off my board due to lack of skill, i could accomplish it easily lol. just need to have the driver lean the opposite side of the ski to make the other wake bigger...

supra are def. nice...the sahpe of the wake is sick...but..you need to ride behind a MB..doesnt matter which model..there all amazing..i worked at Shadrack here in knoxville with Classy..and we got to take out the demo boat..and it was the most simple model that MB designs...and..it was pure majic...

i have an 05 x-2 and i love it. i took out the rear tanks and threw a 750 on each side hooked to the ballast and put all wetsounds speakers in it recently. if you buy new speakers for your boat you NEED wetsounds. anyway, i too have been wishing i had an old 2001 nautique closed bow. w/o any weight they have a killer skate wake and there arent any gimmicks to break on ya.

We started off as strappers, so we got a fairly decent wakeboat back in '05, before switching over to skating. It doesn't make the wall of water you get from a v-drive, but it's nice. Being able to afford it is one of the little perks of being old, I guess. We always have room, if anyone around DFW wants a pull.
