wakeskatedude, when you say it was pressed, do you mean it used the vaccum method?

wakeshredder, the catalogue says "compression molded", i think with glass on top and bottom with a wood core, look here for more information about compression molded or search via web search engine

Integrity uses a sandwich construction process that is compressed with high heat, and pressure. everything is precision CNC cut parts to fit the mold perfectly. We do not use a vacuum process... which is inferior. Or compression molded which traps excess resin and and has weak spots and or air bubbles. The way we do it, the excess epoxy and or air is squeezed out of the edges... This makes for a way better part, that is homogenize and has a perfect tensile epoxy/fiber strength across the decks. Compression molding is sloppy parts jammed into a mold to make a certain shape that might not be an evenly made part.

It's basically like building a high end snowboard except it's a wakeskate.

Most epoxys need some kind of heat to set up properly... otherwise they never reach their full strength.

If I were you... I would use this Polyester Resin... without and fiber cloth... You are just looking to seal the product... Right?

Tack Free, Gloss Resin, Orthophthalic Polyester Resin.
Formulated specifically to provide a glossy hard and durable
finish coat. Low viscosity, contains wax and leveling agents to assist
smooth flow out. Use as final (Gloss) coat on surfboards, sailboards
or on any project where a tough clear finish is desired. Wet sands
and polishes to a brilliant glossy finish. Must be catalyzed with
Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP) at a ratio of 1 to 2 % by weight
(10 ml. to a quart of resin equals approximately 1%). Gel time is
approximately 13 minutes at 75° F. Adjust catalyst level to speed or
slow resin gel times. Higher or lower temperatures alter gel and cure
times considerably. Mix resin before using. Mix catalyst into resin
thoroughly. Use extreme caution when handling MEKP, it will cause
eye damage upon contact.

Place "peal ply" over it. lightly squeegee out the air... and let it set up... when it's done curring... peal the coated "peal Ply" off and you will have a perfect gloss finish that won't need sanding ... except for the ends maybe.
