O.K., so with all the recent rain and snow meltage, all of the rivers and creeks are flooding. So what do you think my chances are of being able to tie a rope to a tree, and skate on the flooding creeks? its effing cold so I don't want to go out there if its not even gonna work.

The urge to skate is killing me.

Schmaltz, I'd just have a friend or two waiting a little farther back to catch it.

I have two things too say. I attempted to ride a creek a year and a half ago. It had rained here in Kansas City for a week straight, so the ground was completely saturated and the runoff went straight into the creek. It looked like a rapid. I ballsed it out and tied my rope to a bridge. The bank was muddy as hell and my shoes got stuck. I acid dropped onto the water from a slippery rock and instantly ate it. The water was running fast but not quite fast enough. After luckily getting my board back (LF Impusle) I tried to wade in and deep start. It was like trying to get up behind a boat that can't pass like 10mh. Hard as hell and I couldn't brake the surface. It was a bust. I gave up. Now that's the first thing. The next day or two later, I was watching the news and they were talking about all the chemicals that were in that creek. How it was hazerdous to humans to contact. I bathed in that shizzle. Glad I haven't got grown a third arm. You should definitely consider what might be in that water. Also, when the flow is going fast enough that you could catch a ride, there will likely be a lot of crap flowing your way, and fast. Creeks aren't always known for having harmless things float down streem. Beware and be careful. PS. You might try and make a leash for your board if you are serious.

Have you watched this video?

That was what I thougth I would be getting into, no such luck.

Brett Leadley, i'm about 2 hours I think, haven't been there in a while. But I will definitely be down there the first day I get my new skate (probably april/may)

Just thought of that leash idea today myself, still thinking of a way I can make a leash without it effing up shuvs and stuff. I think I might just get a tree with alot of branches to comb the water behind me. Smash , the water is going down now, but I'm sure we will get another flood.

The Ninja, Whats wrong with my myspace pic, it was one of my senior pics Embarassed Embarassed
P.S. myspace is for meeting sloots, and I've got plenty of them already Wink
