Powell is my favorite place on Earth. It gets choppy during the day so just go find a slot canyon and ride there during the day. They are no problem to find, seriously one of those things you have to do before you die. I just got married and my wife's parents have a house boat there. Talk about picking the right girl

i stopped there like 5 years ago and just camped out on my way back east. i drove into blackness at night. i awoke to the epicness of canyon walls reflecting in boundless butter, i went for a dip and it was pristine, i didn't want to leave. lake powell is groovy, i can't wait to ride there.
