So today is gonna be the final day of the Quicksilver Pro WCT(surfing) event # 1at Snapper Rocks/Superbank. Most of the big dogs are still in it( Slater, Fanning, A.I.,Parko, Dingo, Bede, Tim Reyes, Jory Smith, Taj, etc.) Should be one hell of an event with better waves than they've had the last few days. Starts @ 5pm eastern time, (March 4th @ 8am for all you Aussies). Got a link up to the live coverage, check it out.

First heat of the day is a banger, Dean Morrison vs. Jordy Smith, local ex winner vs. phenom rookie. I potential for a Coolie Kid( Dingo, Parko, or Fanning) vs Slater or A.I. final. Would be sweet.

Dingo the Rookie Killer. Takes out both Dane Reynolds and Jordy Smith. Might easily take the whole thing I rekon.

Taj taken out by Ace. Some would call it a huge upset but Ace has been killin it all contest. Used great tactics at the end when he had priority and Taj blew it, could tell he wa rattled. Quarters 1 and 2 gonna be sick. Bede vs. Parko, Mick vs. Dingo.

That he is. Two heats in a row on the ropes at one point and still comes through. Old man better go to Bells. He's sooo dangerous when he's relaxed and not caring about what's going on around him. That one wave in the semis with two reverses on it was the only wave in the whole contest I though was even close to a ten.

Jeez I missed it live, but that was a solid final, two champs head to head, would've liked to see fanning take down slater but 2nd ain't nothing to complain about when you're surfing against kelly.
