Ahh, I saw blade runner last spring for one of my literature classes. Lots of great symbolism in that flim...

It's hard to choose five because some of you listed films I hadn't thought of and love, but here are a few:

American Psycho
Chicago
Mean Girls Twisted Evil
Casino Royal
any james bond film with sean connery

Public televison has been showing these jane austen adaptations that have been great, and memento was another film I saw for a class that was outstanding. Also pulp fiction, the hours, the pianist, blah blah blah...Again, too many to list, too many to list...

Alot of lover's of A.H.X.. Hopefully it's for the message that it sends that hate is a vicious cycle that never ends unless we can rise above it( even then hopefully not to late to have already perpetuated the circle). Not because of the racist imagery it uses to paint this picture. Fark hate and fark ignorent racist yet at the same time hope that one day they actually wake up and get it. With all that I just said, is it ok for me to say that I hate hate, or is that like the pot calling the kettle back, haha. I think you know what I mean.

in no particular order

pirates of the caribbean; curse of the black pearl
indiana jones-any of them
the life aquatic with steve zissou
the entire band of brothers miniseries-i see it as one story
and id have to say dr. strangelove-peter sellers should be one word and found in a thesaurus as a synonym for genius

Parker, yeah, it's definitely on the weird side but it's really interesting. The first time I watched it, i didn't realize that very few people got Patrick Bateman's identity correct and they all thought he was someone else. And awhile back my sister did some work on that film for her film studies minor and presented some interesting things to consider.

On a weird side note, on the first season of the real housewives of orange county (which nobody else here probably watched Twisted Evil ) this dude slade had a very similar morning routine as patrick, like primping, crunches, push ups, et al. The similarities were crazy...kind of surreal, kind of disturbing.
