i don't why this happened but if all your music is on your ipod you could use an extractor and get them back _________________

| You could scan your computer for music files again and they should all repopulate. If you find one they should all load back up. |

if u have a mac go in to finder and type in itunes library or go to the music folder and if both of those are empty then most likely they were all deleted. Had that happen with 3000 photos of mine. All film _________________

| Download iDump (greatest program ever) and you can 'dump' your music back on to iTunes, easy as that. Good luck. |

TTUFAN24, its happened to me. over 5000 songs, i was going nuts. i eventually found my songs but they wouldnt play. i thought it was linked to the wrong folder but it wasnt. this was a month ago
what i had to do was delete my itunes library and reload the songs to the library from my folder. and then it worked. for some reason i lost like 10 songs but i was just happy i got my music back. |

So you still have ITunes installed and it runs/opens with no problem??
If so, start it up.......then click on File -> 'Add Folder'.
Navigate to the folder where all your music is located (I'm assuming you know where it is...) and then BAM, it should all reload. If you don't know where the folder is located, I'd start with scanning your C:\Document And Settings folder...that is if you're using a PC.
If your ITunes did lose connection with your music folder, it may be a good idea to uninstall, reinstall the software. When you do this, you have the option to scan your computer for music right off the bat and it will add it to your ITunes library as well.
If you need any other help or have any questions, just let me know dude. |

| Have you tried rebooting it dude?? Hold down the centre and top of the wheel simutaneously for like 5-10 secs and it should shut down and reboot. Mine freezes solid all the time and does weird shizzle, so I do that usually every couple of days. |
