Anybody ever put tower speakers on a seadoo or seen it done? I would like to try it this summer. And can I hook an amp up to my seadoo battery?

it will get hot. the only safe place for it is the front box(if it's sealed). even then there will be no moving air which won't allow for proper ventilation.

also, you will have to make sure the amp is tied into the right hot wire that way when the jet ski shuts off the amp will also shut off.

Thats what the remote wire is for. Dedicated +12v power from battery, dedicated ground to chassis, and remote from stereo. When the stereo is turned on/off, signals amp to do the same.

hey guys my speakers are louder than the ones on my boat and all I did was took a amp running to my batttery and then to two stock door speakers to my camaro in plastic paint cans. they totally look like tower speakers and are so loud its insane. and just run a headphone jack into the input to plug in an ipod or something. then you dont need a head unit or anything. I got the amp for like 50$ and a 15$ wiring kit from walmart and that was like all the cost so you dont need much. the only little secret to the whole thing is that, theres usually a little blue remote power wire that runs to your radio and allows the amp to turn on. all you do is trick it and run one end into the remote slot and the other where the battery wire plugs in, I cant remember if mine is in the posative or negative. but then your good and you can deff hear them when you ride. I get the cops here almost everytime there all the way up haha. but I did that on a 1996 yamaha 750 so I sure whatever Sea DOo your on can handle it
