i heard that cassette, liquid force, and 484 were all under the same roof at one time, so that's why they all kind of look the same. everyone says that each one of them is different in some way when you ride them, though. i don't know if that's true though. _________________

Not true. Do a search, there is a crap-load of info on this touchy subject.
The answer is basically yes, they are a total copy of Cassettes designs. _________________

my friend who runs their own shop, (no I will not mention any names just in case they might catch flak for repeating this) says that the 484 rep in there area told them that they are "made from the same mold as cassette with the same techniques so you'll get the same preformance and quality" _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself

I really wish I could mention names and lend credibility, but I can't thow one of my long time friends infront of a bomb like that especially since the shop distributes them
If this hurts my credibility oh well, I belive them, however it is totally legal, becuase they confirmed my earlier comment

It's legal because they bought them. But I personally think it's lame just because wakeskating is so young and if you really want to make an impact, I think you should be experimenting with your own shapes/materials, rather than riding the wave of a successful shape developed by somebody else. But that's just me. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I like their new ad they have, Ride it like you stole it....we do
I think they would have gotten alot more credibility if they had come up with their own shapes.
It's as if they are proud of the fact that they can't create their own shape, and just rest on the blood and sweat of others.
This industry is very small and we all have a voice. It's up to us to push this sport in the right direction.
