I dont see what the big deal is. shizzle load of people that are just getting into the scene from oklahoma having a hell of a good time on a box. Everyone starts somewhere and the riders in oklahoma are just getting there bearings but wait until we see the years that follow.

Parker, The only problem i see is that you were WATCHING and not shredding it up and having a good time with the rest of them.

Parker, ya i dont know about ur circumstances and i dont mean to criticise you. I do understand that this is a large venue at a boat show and it would be nice for viewing people to get full impression of how gnarly wakeskating has become. Fact is though, its oklahoma and most of them are just blossoming into master schralpers. I can probly dig up some old videos of pool gap comps in florida that look just the same. We all looked a little bowlegged and out of wack on a skate at one point in time.

kyle41, its true that the scene is just now exploding in OK, i can also find handfuls of strappers at school but very rarely a skater

If the scene is just now exploding, someone NEEDS to be there to make sure things go in the right direction. For example- who the HELL designed that pool setup, and why isn't it like 4x as big?

It's cool to see so many people watching, though.

i'm sorry but IMO that represents what we do in a bad way. not to mention that that setup was incredibly dangerous and its a wonder that no one was seriously injured.
