yeah thats berryessa's spillway. it's crazy to watch the water flow in the top when the lake is at capacity.

RUSSIAN, ive heard about skating it from some older guys but i never knew how to get there. i also heard about them skating the bottom of another dam in the bay area, i think it's over by briones or something.

I drive by there everytime i go to the lake. some of my friends have skated the full pipe but i have yet to make the adventure.

that is the exit of the glory hole. you can see the opening from the lake. it is a trip

it seriously does look unreal when you see it in person.

its an overflow thing for the lake. the glory hole is right next to the dam. most of the year the glory hole is out of the water. but when the water is high it is so cool to see.

The lake should be full by spring, but won't last long. I have seen the glory hole like 90ft out of the water. In fact when I was kid the lake never got anywhere close to full, to see it full was a trip(still is). It's to bad the BOR is making all these changes, all the mobiles that my family and friends have had over the last 50 years are going bye-bye Crying or Very sad

and they were talking about closing the lake to the public for 2 years, but I'm not sure if they are still doing that.
