i saw it with my friend. i have been wakeboarding or wakeskating on tv a lot on fusion tv or off the wall.

Josh is totally, righteously correct.

You can look back at tony alva and the rest of the dogtown skaters and their opinions on style. You can look back at duane peters, who seems more akin to myles vickers. In snowboarding one major style conflict was the wacky clicker step-in style that used to be popular (but now step-in use has subsided amongst the respectable pro contingent). In wakeboarding, randy harris was/is opinionated about style (and yes, people had issues with it). And lastly, the creme de la creme, in "real life" we have Joan Rivers, who makes her living on style and declaring who has good style and who doesn't during the winter/spring awards season.

So, style is not untouchable. Some are not all that tactful when they go about making their point, but that's the way it goes. Obviously if it's over the line on this site it will be deleted. And sometimes these opinions result in change (the step in issue), and sometimes they don't do anything significant at all (like duane peters spitting on tony hawk). And when people talk poop, you can either take it personally, you can change something, or you can say "forget it" (like diane keaton and her "fashion sense") and keep doing what you're doing--even if people think it's ugly. The choice is yours...

Anyway, after all of that maybe this will cheer you up. Sleeping cats...how can you NOT smile?

so who said that i didnt ollie up to the a-frame? cuz there is no way that you can just slide the thing. it was really fun to do it though. check it out at ww.sayiwont.com its a short clip but the vid is sweet. those guys are really kool and check out thier booth at the tour stops.

yea, and i saw it on the fusion tv thing too. u know that ur interview was on there? they replayed the a-frame like 3 or 4 times, it looked awesome.

Style is the only thing that seperates the good from the bad. A person with bad style shouldn't even be considered a legit pro. It is the way that skateboarding goes and is the way that wakeskating will go if Thomas has anything to do with it. Who cares if Chase did the A-frame it looked like crap when he did it. Still you have to respect he did it but you don't have to admire it or even take it for something that was good. If you got wack style, you got wack style period! Has anyone sent an email to "The Ratto" by the way who claims themselves to be "THE"? Oh and I know the DVS crew and they just don't understand how someone could claim that slide like it was the olympics or something. You were in Reno at a PWT and you didn't even win get over it.

the only thing close to worth watching was thomas' interview.

jeff barton: the wakeboarders have been saying how the wind is really a major factor out there how do you think this will affect wakeskating?
