vinyl or hampson impulse?

Im trying to think of a good christmas present for mah self while im back in texas. and im trying to think of a good board that i would be able to get while im back in the ATX. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on each of these boards, and the best bang for your buck. Any suggestions appreciated. Cool

or if u have an idea of the nicest wakeskate they sell at sail and ski off 183 in austin.

i really didn't like the vinyl that much. the board is really slow and heavy....... i have a better idea than both, NEW WAKESKATES

El Diablo, I rode the reed all last year and the hampson for the first part of this year. its an awesome board. killer for wake2wake 3 shuvs. the down sides were that it does NOT hold up very well, i broke about i every week. and with flip tricks it felt like it flipped different every time. i started riding the vinyl and loved it. its super consistent for flip tricks, it flips and sticks right to your feet every time. Very Happy

and holds up well on the rails Very Happy

personally i like the vinyl. Smash

Some dude at O dub let me sesh his vinyl. VERY different board, but once I got used to it, it was fun. And that thing slides like an angel!

Then I sold it. If I wanted a boat I would have bought one with a prop.

i think il just use mah budds old skate in texas.
il just wait till spring break and when were headin to the keys, il just stop by NEW and pick up the dub stix. Cool
