Hey Everyone,
Thanks for all of your words of advice. I know a bunch of you say, "don't do it, just wait" but I'm dieing to get back on my board. If you could please take a look at the pics below and let me know what you think.
I've done a good job of keeping it clean. I took the LiquidSkin off today to look at the wound and I think it looks good. It's still wide and a little raw, but it's not bleeding. If your answer is still, “don’t get in, just wait” then how long do you think I should wait?
Thanks again. Everyone stay safe!

Don't do anything, just go out and ride. That cut is nothing I can't see why you are complaining!

I had a cut on my shin (a little lower) that took a long time to heal because it kept busting open due to the skin being so tight in that location. I basically made some butterfly stiches every day out of medical tape to keep it closed until it finally healed up.
If you want to get in the water, butterfly stich it closed and go for it. You may want to use the butterfly stiches with the glue stuff you put on your skin as that would probably hold better in water.
A butterfly stich is just something that can stretch across the cut and pull it together. The main thing is that you don't want the part of the stich that goes over the actual cut to be sticky. So if you use tape, cut some slits in the tape and fold it over to the middle on the part that will be in contact with the cut.

I second Dave's opinion. What I always do in soccer is butterfly it and put athletic tape over it, works just fine, no pain taking it off. Not sure about in the water though.
