HPDVS, I'm not sure but maybe this feature:
NON-MARKING GUM SOLE - you don't want to ruin your boat interior, do you?
Anyway, they are out now at buywake.

| there are two mesh colorways of the Dresden in the 04 Summer line from DVS. the black/red, and the yellow/green. the Ambush shoe is limited to 500 pairs and the only wakeskate offering from DVS so far. the difference between the two mesh shoes in the 04 Summer line (unlimited run and at all shops that carry DVS) and the Ambush shoe is the different material used for the tongue. Closed cell foam in the Ambush shoe makes the tongue as light as a normal skate shoe. and the shoe is definitely going to be a collector's item not just because it's the first wakeskate shoe from a legitimate skate company, but mainly because the colorway (beige on taupe) and the limited number in which they are being introduced. hope everyone likes them as much as we do and we can't wait to start working on the 05 shoe with our friends at DVS thanks and enjoy..... thomas |

I just rode the first run with my new Ambush DVS wakeskate shoes! This is really great stuff. Normally I use the Reef Byerlys but they don't compare with the Ambush DVS wakeskate shoe.
The Byerlys feel like plastic shoes, the Ambush shoes are very soft like a normal skate shoe and dry quicker than the Byerlys. The tongue is one of the best parts, fits very nice and once again very soft.
Get those Ambush DVS wakeskate shoes, you won't be dissapointted!!

wcwakeskater, go to a skate shop and try on a pair of dresdens. from what i found, they are exactly the same fit as the wakeskating variety. also when i tried them on, the leather dresdens fit exactly like the suede dresdens and the regular dresdens and the mesh kind....you get what im saying?
anyways your foot will feel different in the shoes than anyone elses will. just because people like them doesnt mean that you will. try them on before you buy them. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

| i got the black mesh ones, they are awesome. they are super light and i like the look and cushioning much better than the byerlys. i also got a suede all black pair for skating, and everyday use. utilityboardsupply.com has a bunch of different colorways in dresdens. |

wcwakeskater;
if you wanna buy new wakeskate shoes and you can't try them before you ride choose the Ambush shoes above the Byerlys!
- they feel lighter
- they drain faster/more
- quick dry
- the tongue if way more comfordable which makes putting the shoes on and off much easier!!!
I don't know what the difference is between the Ambush Dresdens and the mesh Dresdens but if you wanna use them for wakeskate specific why don't you buy the wakeskate specific one? I think that's an easy choice. |

perhaps i should mention that what might be comfortable to someone else (read: robert) doesnt automatically make it comfortable for you. my mesh dresdens are comfy though.
robert here is thomas' post from earlier in the thread. it answers your comment regarding the differences between the dvs mesh shoe and the ambush/buywake edition shoe. | thomas wrote: | | there are two mesh colorways of the Dresden in the 04 Summer line from DVS. the black/red, and the yellow/green. the Ambush shoe is limited to 500 pairs and the only wakeskate offering from DVS so far. the difference between the two mesh shoes in the 04 Summer line (unlimited run and at all shops that carry DVS) and the Ambush shoe is the different material used for the tongue. | Therefore in the end, if you want a pure wakeskate shoe get the ABC/BY Dresdens. If you want it for just wearing and wakeskateing get the DVS Mesh Dresdens. Enuff said! |

| I have got the byerlys and they drain really well... i never even really think about my shoes as being the ones to keep any of the water and if u ask me it really doesnt matter that much when you have all that water sprayin up on you and drainin from your jackett for like 20 seconds... just me i guess |
