alright alright...
My post was not made to talk down to, or to talk smack about Scene One OR Esoteric, so let's put that to rest right now. The fact that I got Keef all angry almost made me smile because it shows that he cares, but I can't say that I'm a huge fan of that jumblef*ck of a rant. I'll chalk that one (and NaRC-P rider's post) up to alcohol.
Since I'm still/already here (waiting for video to render, imagine that!), here's something that I hope either helps you camera shooters or informs others of how things typically work.
I've decided to post this in lieu of any sort of response to Scene One. Guys, I like what you're doing, but I'm afraid that any sort of long-winded response back in your direction will be met with the same distorted goggles that my previous two have. No offense intended, I just think you're completely missing my point. My comparison of you guys to Justin Stephens was only to say that since you aren't the best out there that you should give your work away for free, too. Nevermind, temporarily, that your video was way better a piece that the photo in question. Hell, it doesn't even matter in this case. But I like how angry you got, Keef, when I suggested that you should give away your work...much like how uidzero didn't agree with people wanting him to give away his work. Get it? I didn't mean any harm.
Anyways, page 1...

note: the rest of this post has been moved to my wb.com blog. It's a bit long (as mentioned) and I don't feel right leaving such a long post at the top of the page for everyone to have to scroll through each time they open the thread. If you're interested in knowing how working for free isn't really going to help you make it big, then click on the link and read it. Hell, if you're an aspiring photographer at all, you might wanna take a look at it. Not to say that it's the greatest thing ever written, but if you're new to the game it might help lend a different perspective on things. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

It must be a cold day in hell(is sure is cold here in TN) Because I for once 100% completely agree with not only one post, but an entire thread worth of Scott A's posts. this might be a new day, time to turn a new leaf. I think for once I have read something online and full taken it in...I did not pick a line I could bash or make fun of, no sarcastic remarks from me. What Scott A just wrote truly blessed my thought process and heart. Thanks Scott!!! _________________ 10101 |
