Hey guys, I already have the 39" Pelican and will be getting the dub stix sometime soon (i ordered it a week ago Thursday, but the damn postage to Australia takes just a stupid amount of time, damn postal service ). But i was thinking does anyone have any custom NEWs that they could share their secrets with me.
I am thinking cause the bi is a 40.5" and the Pelican is a 39". I wanted to go for a 5 stage at around 40" or 41" (maybe just instead of a 15.25" width something like 16" or even 15.75" maybe, wouldnt mind just that bit more width might help). I really wanna get this board like perrrfect, and i want it 5 stage so i can like have the three boards... A smaller 3 stage (pelican), the bi level and a medium sized 5 stage, so i can pick and choose what board i want for the tricks i wanna try for.
I prolly wont get it till around march/april but i was wondering what all u guys though and if anyone had designed anything with NEW (not just 5 stages).
Thanks in advance

16 is a wide wide board man...But I know nothing about 5 stage rocker, that might be a lethal combo, or maybe a flop... _________________ 10101 |

yeah 16 sounds a bit wide and i'd go 40'' with the 5 stage, that sounds like a lethal combo
what do you do to get the pictures on the bottom of the board like that? photoshop? |

aev, Depends what board u are getting, i think my Pelican cost like 220(ish) with postage (thats Australian BTW). But my dub is like 250ish from memory. But compared with buying the equivalent board from a company in aus, a 3 stage costs about 500, and a bi level is well over 600 so buying them from NEW is definately the way to go. And they are really the nicest people so well worth buying it from them. Only down side is it will take like 2 weeks to get to u cause of damn gay postage times (but hey i am willing to wait that long for a custom graphiced board that is just SCHWEET) _________________

$60 US if i remember the quote correctly for a dub six to brisbane
sadly bi-levels arent sold at all in australia, though i thoroughly regret not buying a good condition 06 a. reed cassette bi i saw on aus ebay at the beginning of the year that went for under $300 |
