NEED INPUT ON AD DESIGN (NEW)

I don't like the graphics, too busy for my taste. The font and "wakevision" part isn't bad. It's a sick shot but the photo quality isn't AD material in my opinion.

Instead of tearing this guy's ass apart, maybe you should talk to Justin first. However, I still think your website is a throw-away.. I'll stick to my wakeskating.com family. You just get your videos from here anyway.

Yeah, this is definitely something I'll be getting serious about in a couple months or so. My plan was to build a new one over winter, but who am I fooling, it wont happen.

I talk to Justin all the time... I never said he could use it for ads but he was stoked on his new sponsor and it ended up as an ad for Mekonah (sp?) so I let it slide. It's not even the hi-res version of the shot. But now it's obvious this guy is just trying to capitalize on a sport that he's not even a part of by putting up ANOTHER user content driven site just to make $$$ from adsense.

I asked him not to use the photo once already douche. And no I didn't use the cliché "contacted by my lawyer" line either.

He's not taking Frye seriously after repeated requests to take their intellectual property of his site so why should I assume he's going to treat mine any differently?

Listen I am really sorry about the misunderstanding with the photo. I am the one who sponsered Justin because I own Mekonah Apparel and he is one of my team riders. He sent me the photos a while ago and I did not realize they were not his. I have removed that photo from my website and I will not use it for anything else. I want to delete the post with the picture in it but I can't figure out how to delete it. I hope this makes you feel more at ease I swear I did not have any bad intentions. If you have any other questions please let me know...

wakevision, It's going to be hard to make your site work. Videos get taken down off youtube and google all day long for use without permission. You might want to do some re-thinking.

uidzero, I can understand if you were saving these pictures for the Standerd or something but honestly, those pictures are nothing special.. I get where you are coming from and I would be pissed if someone used one of my photographs without permission, too. If anything, you should be stoked someone wants to use one of your shots and get your name out there, just talk it over through a PM and work things out. But he apologized and said he wasn't going to use it so just let it go. Cool

wakevision, Thanks I appreciate it. And like I said I know the photo ended up as a Mekonah ad and I was glad Justin got on the team so I had no problem with it. Feel free to use it for Mekonah, you made those ads a while ago so it's no big deal.
