help with sanding

So i have a skate i want to refinish and was wondering if i should use an orbit sander or a sheet sander? also what grit should i use?

I have tons of epoxy laying around so ill probably epoxy the whole board if that makes a difference.

i used both. used the orbital to take the paint off. then used the sheet sander to make it all smooth. I used 80 grit on the orbital first. then used 120, then 240. finished off with 300. on the sheet sander. then i just used fiberglass resin without the fiberglass cloth. then repeated the sanding. worked damn good.

B-Lane, i did the same thing on one of my old boards. but i didnt use fiberglass, i just did a couple of coats of eproxy sealent, and then toped it off with spray on wood water proofer. works awesome.
