off his website

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I dunno dude, fox news said that Ron Paul supporters are terrorists. I mean, do we seriously want the constitution back?

McLOVIN, He is if we can get enough support for him.

col101, Obama is not going to come into office and say, "Okay everyone, it's now legal to grow, sell, and smoke your own pot. I'm just gonna sit here and not bother any of you."

RP is more dedicated to stopping the useless war on drugs than any other candidate.

I think legalizing marijuana is the last thing we as American's should be basing our decision on.

I think his plan on Immigration & Border Security is a very important policy. Also, his plans of withdrawing from all of these trade deals that are eliminating our Independence. And if you guys are worried about taxes, he'd be the one to pick if we plan on stopping the United Nations from screwing us over.

And what about Privacy?

"Financial privacy? Right now depositing $10,000 or more in cash in your local bank account will generate a federally-mandated report to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network at the United States Department of the Treasury."

I sure as hell don't want to be tracked by a National ID card. And the patriot act is a joke.

However, I don't agree with his views on gun ownership. Way too many idiots out there already, and the last thing they need are handguns to "protect themselves from hazardous situations."

I still have mixed feelings about RP and I'll wait it out a little longer before I make a decision.

TAD, Agreed, but to a lot of Americans whose primary lifestyle revolves around marijuana use, it is important to them that this freedom be granted.

I am aligned with all of his policies except for his advocacy for home-schooling and abortion, both of which I'm undecided on.

I believe with all of my Americaness that Ron Paul is the best man for the job who has decided the job is worth taking.
