I know this is dumb but I'm having a lot of trouble deciding on where to live next year..............I get a really nice apartment or house close to campus near all of my other friends..........practically all of them are living in like 4-5 communities...............BUT.............my bro Steve and I thought up yesterday to get an apartment on the nearby lake..............efffffn sweet.........both are pretty much the same rent/month

Pros/Cons
+lakeside apartments available
+we'd buy a jet ski
+ boardn paradise!!!
- kinda far from campus........like 15-20min........so driving to classes and stuff
- no one else we know would be near us
- we'd be far from the nightlife

any input would be greatly appreciated! Smile

........especailly anyone who's a student

+ but it's on the water

does it provide slips for your watercraft? or at least a private ramp?

p.s. it's the "nightlife" that gets old and boring, not the water. Wink

depends on how much you wanna ride...to which im' hoping the answer is every day. but i doubt you're gonna wanna go out every single night, and you probably wont have school everyday. so either drive to ride everyday and still have to drive to school, or drive to ride and drive less to school. as far as your friends, if you live on a lake with a jetski, trust me they will come to you my friend. lakeside living is incredible....SOOOO nice, take the opportunity if you get it.

Plus, being 15-20 from class isn't that bad at all, I drive 30 minutes to class 5 days a week and I'm fine as long as I have some fresh music.

I drive 45 minutes to get to class. Our lake house has no cable, phoneline, internet.. just electricity, hammocks, and n64. And two beds. And a beer pong table. Nothin like goin on the lake every night just cruisin at idle with your bros.
