you can always just get real nitty gritty and rip that effers eyes out when in an attack. that's all they should put for how to survive it: "rip its eyes out"

yeah, riding with a knife sounds like a good idea now; never know when you might need to use it (in defense of course) and if someone runs over the rope with a ski it could come in handy too

I went up to northern Queensland (yes in aussie land) and i saw this floating turtle shell that was like in half (pretty big one too) and turned to my uncle and was like hmmmm what happened there u rekon, boat hit it, hes like NAH mate, that did it, pointed to like a 20 foot saltwater crocodile. I was just like hmm i def will not be skating around here Razz

che blanc, yeah any gator that eat's/kills someone is killed. There was a guy the other day who was running from the police after robbing cars and he jumped of the bridge into a pond and he was killed. They traped the gator and he was put to sleep or other wise know as killed.

Were I ride in Georgia you rarely see gators

oh i get it, so if a gator kills someone it must be one of those rare gators that would do it again if left to live. so by destroying that specific gator we increase the odds of humanity continuing. I’m so glad we have laws to keep our civilization prevailing, and also set an example for any other gators out there thinking about eating someone.

brassmonkey, Thats like saying dont put someone in jail just because they killed someone. It's not going to stop anyone else from killing someone. You kill someone and get caught...you go to jail. Just like a gator kills someone...They die, because our government may not be smart, but is smart enough not to have a gator jail...

Alligators are making a huge comeback and I'd say they are at the point where FLA is almost over populated. Instead of giving rednecks the go-ahead, this is a reasonable systematic, regulatory way of keeping the population under control.

I have an alligators hunting permit.
